Visit of London

To get a good start into our travel’s week, we began to visit the English capital, the well known multicultural city of London.

I took the train in High Wycombe with other french people and their exchanges, then we took the tube : we were in London, it was very impressive particularly with impressive buildings and so many people! We’ve seen lot of shops and monuments! Among them, we went to the Buckingham Palace, the Big Ben and the Parlement, the London Eye and also the Thames… At one point, we went in a huge toy store : they were several floors full of a multitude of different toys ! We also visit the M&M’s World ; it was a plenty of sweetmeat, very impressive. After all those activities and to end positively this day, we went back to High Wycombe and ate at the restaurant. It was quite nice to share this day of sightseeing.

After getting ready, Oriane’s exchange’s mother drove them to the towncentre of High Wycombe in order to take the train to go to London. They joined Lucy, Cécile and her exchange at the train station and they met the others later. They also took the metro, it was cool because the metro station reminded Oriane Harry Potter. They walked around London. They went to the Buckingham Palace, Camden and many other places. She really liked Camden because she thinks the atmosphere was really different from the other streets they went to.They finished the visit by going on a hill where they had a beautiful view of London. They went home and watched a movie with Lucy, Marie and their exchanges Theo and Harry.
